一、學(xué)院介紹

南京大學(xué)生命科學(xué)學(xué)院起源于1914年成立的金陵大學(xué)農(nóng)科和秉志先生于1921年創(chuàng)立的南京高等師范學(xué)校（國(guó)立東南大學(xué)）生物系，1992年成院，是我國(guó)大學(xué)第一個(gè)生物系，也是國(guó)內(nèi)歷史最悠久的生命科學(xué)研究與教學(xué)機(jī)構(gòu)之一。百年來(lái)，學(xué)院秉承實(shí)事求是的科學(xué)精神、嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)求實(shí)的學(xué)術(shù)作風(fēng)、勤奮進(jìn)取的治學(xué)傳統(tǒng)，為國(guó)家培養(yǎng)了大批杰出人才，60多位兩院院士曾在此學(xué)習(xí)和工作。

學(xué)院擁有一支高素質(zhì)的師資隊(duì)伍，現(xiàn)有教授(研究員)55人，副教授42人，“國(guó)家杰出青年基金”獲得者11人、“國(guó)家級(jí)青年人才計(jì)劃”入選者7人、“國(guó)家優(yōu)秀青年基金”獲得者7人、“教育部跨/新世紀(jì)人才”19人、江蘇特聘教授2人、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金委創(chuàng)新研究群體1個(gè)。

二、招聘崗位設(shè)置

南京大學(xué)生命科學(xué)學(xué)院擬面向全球招聘有志于從事生命科學(xué)學(xué)科各主要研究方向的優(yōu)秀青年人才到學(xué)院工作。本次擬招聘準(zhǔn)聘助理教授/準(zhǔn)聘副教授共計(jì)5名（準(zhǔn)聘副教授不超2名）。研究方向包括：

（1）生物學(xué)（神經(jīng)生物學(xué)、生理學(xué)、結(jié)構(gòu)生物學(xué)、生物信息學(xué)、合成生物學(xué)、細(xì)胞生物學(xué)、微生物學(xué)等）；

（2）藥學(xué)（藥理學(xué)、藥物化學(xué)等）；

（3）生態(tài)學(xué)（動(dòng)物生態(tài)學(xué)、植物生態(tài)學(xué)、微生物生態(tài)學(xué)、生態(tài)系統(tǒng)生態(tài)學(xué)、景觀生態(tài)學(xué)、修復(fù)生態(tài)學(xué)和可持續(xù)生態(tài)學(xué)等）。

3.一流的學(xué)術(shù)背景：具有相關(guān)學(xué)科領(lǐng)域的博士學(xué)位，具有一流教學(xué)科研機(jī)構(gòu)的學(xué)習(xí)、工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)，熟悉相關(guān)領(lǐng)域國(guó)際前沿的研究動(dòng)態(tài)。其中助理教授要求（博士畢業(yè)從事學(xué)術(shù)研究2年以上）；準(zhǔn)聘副教授要求（博士畢業(yè)從事學(xué)術(shù)研究4年以上）；

4.出色的教學(xué)能力：應(yīng)具有能夠勝任本專業(yè)核心基礎(chǔ)課程和前沿課程的教學(xué)能力，掌握良好的教學(xué)方法，具有較強(qiáng)的語(yǔ)言表達(dá)能力；

5.突出的科研成果顯示度與未來(lái)科研發(fā)展?jié)摿Γ簯?yīng)有相關(guān)研究方向的成果顯示度，對(duì)相關(guān)研究領(lǐng)域有原創(chuàng)性觀點(diǎn)，未來(lái)研究計(jì)劃思路清晰，具有較好的學(xué)術(shù)潛力。

Tenure-Track/Tenured Faculty Openings

Department of Life Sciences, Nanjing University, China

I. About the School

The  Nanjing University School of Life Sciences was originated from the  agriculture science (founded in 1914) in Jinling University and the  biology department (founded in 1920) of Nanjing Advanced Normal College  (National Southeast University) founded in 1921 by Mr. Bingzhi. It was  established in 1992. It is the first department of Biology in  universities of China and one of the oldest life science research and  teaching institutions in China. Over the past 100 years, adhering to the  scientific spirit of seeking truth from facts, the academic style of  being rigorous and realistic, and the tradition of diligent and  enterprising research, the College has trained a great number of  outstanding talents for the country. More than 60 academicians of  Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering have  studied and worked here.

The  college has a high-quality teaching staff, including 55 professors  (researchers) and 42 associate professors. 8 professors have been  selected as distinguished professors of Cheung Kong Scholars Program, 11  professors were supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of  China for Distinguished Young Scholars, 7 professors were selected to  be supported by the National Young Talents Program, 7 people were  supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for  Excellent Young Scientists, 19 New Century-Talent scheme scholars and 2  distinguished professors of Jiangsu Province. The research teams have  set up one innovative research group supported by the National Natural  Science Foundation of China, and two innovation teams in " Cheung Kong  Scholars and Innovation Team Development Program of the Ministry of  Education".

II. Positions

The  Nanjing University School of Life Sciences plans to recruit outstanding  young talents from all over the world who are interested in the major  research directions of life sciences to work in the School. There are  five openings at the level of tenure-track associate professor or  tenure-track assistant professor (No more than 2 tenure-track associate  professors). The candidates are expected to teach and research in the  following areas:

1.Biology (Neurobiology, Physiology, Structural Biology, Bioinformatics, Synthetic Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Etc.);

2.Pharmacy (Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Etc.);

3.Ecology  (Animal Ecology, Plant Ecology, Microbial Ecology, Ecosystem Ecology,  Landscape Ecology, Restoration Ecology And Sustainable Ecology, Etc.).

III. Qualifications

The applicant should

(1) Compliance with law and regulations of the People's Republic of China, devoted to teaching and research;

(2) Good  professional ethics and noble individual virtues, abide by the academic  norms, work with due diligence, have no criminal record and have no  record of violating teaching ethics and academic ethics;

(3) Ph.D.  in life science, experience in studying and/or working at first-rate  teaching and research institutions, who is familiar with international  cutting-edge research trends in related fields. And postdoctoral experience at world leading institutions will be a plus. The  applicant for Assistant Professor should have engaged in academic  research for more than two years after receiving the doctoral degree.  The applicant for Associate Professor should have engaged in academic  research for more than four years after receiving the doctoral degree;

(4) Excellent  teaching abilities, competent in the core basic courses and the  frontier courses of the discipline, good pedagogy and strong  presentation ability;

(5) Scientific  research achievements visibility and future development potential:  Great achievements in relevant research directions, original views on  relevant research fields, clear ideas for future research plans, and  good academic potential.

V. Compensation Package and Support

(1) An annual salary (to be worked out individually);
